Butt Implants

Many people, especially women, long for a larger, shapelier, or more sensuous behind. Recently, with the decline of the “skinny chic” look and the growing popularity of curvaceous women in the media, butt implants have become a much more common cosmetic procedure. Dr. Daniel Camacho-Melo is able to use his technical and artistic surgical abilities to create curvaceous posterior contours using one of two methods.

Traditional Augmentation with Butt Implants

Traditional buttock augmentation is a surgical procedure in which hard silicone implants are inserted into the buttocks through an incision. Unlike the softer implants used in breast augmentation, butt implants are firm, so the patient is able to move about and sit and sleep on them without the risk of rupture.

Butt Augmentation with Fat Grafting

Dr. Camacho-Melo also offers fat grafting to increase the size and shape of the buttocks using the patient’s own natural tissues. During this procedure, unwanted fat is removed from another part of the patient’s body, then re-injected into the buttocks to provide enhanced contours and improved appearance.
